WOMEN AND JUNIORS TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Well the 3 B’s Tournament is in the books and while participation was low the prizes were not. Team Radar took all the awards and prizes. Junior Brent Hargraves weighed in a 2.2 lb Spotted Bay Bass and won a very nice Penn Rod and Reel Combo. Donna Hargraves won the Women’s Division with a 2.6 lb Sand Bass. Since the money from the White Seabass tournament rolled over to this tournament, Donna received a nice gift card to Dana Landing.

Well now that summer is underway hopefully we have a good turnout for the Yellowtail Tournament next month.

Good Luck everyone!

Halibut Whiteseabass Tournament Recap

Hey everybody!

The Halibut/White Seabass Tournament finally is in the books, after having to postpone the Tournament for two weeks because of the weather and the holiday weekend. We had our best turnout of the year with eight boats and 20 anglers participating. The fishing was slow with the conditions inshore being off. Team Doghouse and Team Karibik the only boats to weigh in fish. Team Doghouse won Top Boat with a 21.8lb total, Top male went to Tim Honick with a 9.6lb Halibut, Top Junior went to Jeff Ring with a 5.2lb Halibut and second place in the boat division went to Karibik. There was no fish weighed in by the Women so the money will roll over to the 3B’s Tournament on June 22.

I hope we can get more kids involved in the club and the next Tournament is only for Women and Juniors(16 and under). We are giving a nice Spinning rod and reel to the winning Junior. Hope to see you all at the Luau!
